    Hartmann Schedel. Seven Leaves from Liber chronicarum, Three With Hand-Colored Woodcuts. Nuremberg: Anton Koberger, 1493. Leaves from the Latin edition of the Nuremberg Chronicle. All in generally very good condition.

    More Information:

    Hand-colored leaves from the original Latin edition of the Nuremberg Chronicle, the Latin edition of which preceded the German edition. Portraits and two cityscapes hand colored; capitals stroked with red. Leaves in this lot: LXXVI. Some foxing; light soiling. [and:] CXCVII. Some spotting and light soiling. Puckering along binding edge, with edge reinforced on verso. [and:] CCXXII. Shallow folds at corners. [and:] CCXCIII-CCXCVI. All text pages, with all capital letters highlighted in red. Some light foxing; one area of dampstaining along binding edge. A few small tears and bends around edges of all leaves. All in very good condition.
