Front panel of dust jacket is rubbed; spine and back panel yellowed. Very good or better. [and:] Big As Life. New York: Simon and Schuster, 1966. First edition, first printing. Signed by Doctorow on the title page. Small octavo. 218 pages. Original full red cloth with gilt lettering; top edge stained red. Minor paper loss to front pastedown. Small crease to bottom edge of red panel of dust jacket. Fine.

    Signed copies of Doctorow's first two books, including his scarce second book, Big As Life, a science fiction novel that has never been reprinted, per Doctorow's instructions.
