    More Information:

    E. Hoffmann Price. Original Galley Proofs of His Story, "The Infidel's Daughter". For Weird Tales magazine, December, 1927. Signed and corrected by Price in pencil.

Signed by Price on the top of the first page, and his pencil markings in black and blue throughout. Eight long galley sheets, rectos only. Approximately 25 x 7 inches. Folded into sixths. Pages toned and creased, some edgewear to sheets, some soiling. Still, a very good example of a very rare and fragile item. A famous and prolific pulp writer, Price (1898-1988) was the only known pulp writer to have met H. P. Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard and Clark Ashton Smith face-to-face (the "holy triumvirate" of pulp writers, all of whom were recluses). He even collaborated with Lovecraft on the story, Through the Gates of the Silver Key.
