Description

    323 Anatomical Stereograms

D.J. Cunningham. [David Waterson, editor]. Stereoscopic Atlas of Anatomy. Meadville, PA.: Keystone View Company, Inc., 1929.
Revised by Victor E. Emmel. 323 anatomical stereographs mounted on yellow cards with descriptive text. Lacking card number 11 from section I. Ten sections in all, each with its own title card and contents card, in ten slipcased boxes with gilt titles and holograph white library call numbers on spines. Each card has library call numbers in pencil on its verso. The cards have light edge wear, some color fade to the yellow of the card itself, and minor smudges. Boxes rubbed, soiled, and chipped; few fold tears. There are three additional boxes with 112 duplicate cards, some of which have dampstains, bleedthrough from library ink stamps on verso, and minor surface paper wear. A very good set, used as an early twentieth century teaching tool for doctors and surgeons.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
