Octavo. , 320 pages; full-page and in-text illustrations. Publisher's brown cloth, spine stamped in gilt, silver and black, front stamped in yellow, silver and black; bottom edge of text block untrimmed. Spine ends pushed with a bit of wear starting at foot; cloth peeking through at corners of boards. Mild dulling to text block; endpapers browned; some faint thumbsoiling to first few leaves of text block; bump to upper corner of free endpaper. Very good.

Publisher's green cloth, spine and front stamped in red, gray and black; all text block edges trimmed. Spine leaning; binding rubbed with slight loss to lettering; spine ends pushed and slightly worn; slight wear along joints; trace of wear along bottom edges of boards; lower corners bumped. General, mild dulling to text block; edges foxed; endpapers softly browned, with loss to a small area at front pastedown where something previously affixed there was removed. Very good.
