Publisher's full black cloth, front and spine lettered in gilt. Original jacket printed in black and magenta on yellow paper. All text block edges trimmed. Minimal shelf and joint wear at extremities of binding; bottom end of spine end gently pushed; mild rubbing to cloth; slight bumping to lower corners and edges of boards; shallow gouge to rear board. Light age toning to edges of text block, faintly speckled with a few shallow scratches; very mild dust-soiling to top edge. Normal age yellowing to interior; soft crease across title-page, likely as issued; previous owner bookplate tipped to front pastedown. Spine panel of jacket sunned with small hole toward bottom; some rubbing and soiling to exposed panels of jacket; general fairly mild edge wear with very slight loss of paper at spine and flap fold ends. Single small tape repair at verso, at bottom of spine. About near fine. A Haycraft Queen Cornerstone.
