    [And:] D. H. Lawrence. Pansies. [London: Stephensen, 1929]. First edition, one of 500 copies signed by Lawrence, this being copy number 249. Octavo. 125 pages. Publisher's wrappers. Some toning, light wear to wrappers. Front endleaves a bit soiled. Bookplate on inner front wrapper. First signature a bit loose. Good. Housed in original slipcase (quite worn, soiled, split).

    [And:] D. H. Lawrence. Last Poems. Florence: G. Orioli, 1932. First edition, one of 750 copies signed by Frieda Lawrence, this being copy number 260. Octavo. 320 pages. Publisher's brown paper over boards, printed paper label on spine. Binding quite worn, hinges cracked, corners worn, spine toned and worn, binding soiled. Text toned, a few pages creased, ownership signature on front free endpaper. Fair. Housed in later slipcase.
