    Contemporary full calf with front board detached. Worming to preliminary leaves with some loss of text. Pages toned with some sprung gatherings. Overall, good condition.

    This is an important early American example of special church services and sermons for children. It was conceived, organized, and edited by Cotton Mather. Other contributors include Increase Mather, Benjamin Colman, Benjamin Wadsworth, Thomas Prince, Thomas Foxcroft, Joseph Sewall, John Webb, and William Cooper.
