Publisher's black cloth, spine lettered in gilt; top edge stained dark red; in original dust jacket. Spine just barely leaning; trace very mild soiling including a few tiny splashes with a light sheen on the rear board; bottom corners softly bumped with some light wear. Page edges very faintly foxed; very light soiling to front endpapers. Dust jacket spine panel faded; edges lightly worn, particularly at spine ends; verso foxed. Very good. Basis for the 1943 Val Lewton production, The Leopard Man, directed by Jacques Tourneur. The Dark Page 288. From the KoKo Collection.
