Folding frontispiece of Confucius. Contemporary calf, small red title label; edges sprinkled red. A few signs of worming on front and rear boards with minor repair along lower edge of rear board, corners a bit rubbed, joints lightly worn and starting, edges mildly abraded. Text block cockled, pages lightly toned, some offsetting from pastedowns onto preliminary and terminal leaves, sporadic faint foxing, ink ownership signature on title page, offsetting from frontis onto title page. Still, a very good copy.
