    Thirty Beautiful Hand-Colored Plates

[Color-Plate Books]. Thomas Andrew Knight. Pomona Herefordiensis; Containing Coloured Engravings of the Old Cider and Perry Fruits of Herefordshire. London: Printed for the Agricultural Society of Herefordshire, 1811. First edition. Quarto. Approximately 11.75 x 9 inches. [2], viii, [60] pages. Complete with thirty beautifully hand-colored aquatint plates of apples and related fruits inserted throughout. Contemporary full brown diced Russia, boards decoratively ruled in gilt, spine decoratively ruled and lettered in gilt and dark brown, blind turn-ins. Binding worn and soiled, with joints starting, some occasional foxing or thumbsoiling in text (especially on the first few leaves), previous owner's ink signature on title-page.
