Former owner's bookplate on the front pastedown and 1905 dated Christmas gift inscription on the front free endpaper. A sound copy in very good condition. [and] Josephine Lawrence. Man in the Moon Stories Told Over the Radio-Phone. New York: Cupples & Leon Company, 1922. First edition. Octavo. 121 pages. With color and black-and-white illustrations by Johnny Gruelle. Original blue cloth with illustration mounted to front board as issued and titles stamped in gilt on the front board and spine. Pictorial endpapers. Moderate shelf wear to boards with fading to spine and wear at the spine ends and corners. Small piece of front illustration scraped off. Contents toned but sound. Gift inscription on the front free endpaper. Good condition.
