    Maud Lindsay. Silverfoot. Boston: Lothrop, Lee & Shepard Co., [1924]. First edition. Seven of eight color plates; lacking frontispiece. Publisher's illustrated grayish yellow green cloth, front board and spine stamped in dark blue, dust jacket. Pictorial endpapers. Boards and edges somewhat rubbed and soiled, front board mildly scuffed, corners and spine ends a bit bumped, spine leaning. Text block shaken, edges lightly toned and foxed, pages occasionally foxed, gutter at front free endpaper verso cracked, plate facing page 66 detached and laid-in. Dust jacket slightly rubbed and worn on folds. A good, attractive copy of children's book set during the American Civil War. From the collection of Donald Kaufmann.
