Illustrated, with twenty-four plates (including title-page) inserted throughout. Publisher's full green cloth, boards and spine decoratively stamped in green and red. Spine toned, soiled, and worn. Boards toned, soiled, rubbed with some edgewear. Rear joint with a small tear. Hinges and a few gutters starting. Neat previous owner's gift inscription on the first leaf. Some mild toning, and occasional thumbsoiling in text. Still, a near fine copy, with an unusually clean interior. Housed in clamshell case.
