[xii], 364 pp. Frontispiece. Illustrations. Publisher's full gray cloth in a dust jacket. Housed in a modern red clamshell case. Heavy rubbing, soiling, and chipping with loss on dust jacket; cello-tape repairs on spine panel verso. Light extremity wear. Faint soiling on page edges. Front and rear hinges cracked, mull cloth exposed. Over-opened at pp. 224-225. Overall, a very good copy in a fair dust jacket.
