Quarter-calf over marbled boards, with 4 raised bands to spine and red leather spine label stamped in gilt. Corners bumped, moderate edgewear, front joint just starting. Bookplates to front endpapers, minor soiling, two small open tears to rear free endpaper. Internally generally clean, some offsetting, minor foxing, some pages unevenly toned, 2-inch closed tear to contents page professionally repaired. Very good.
