Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., [1921]. [and:] Ruth Plumly Thompson. Kabumpo in Oz. Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., [1922]. Founded on and continuing the famous Oz stories by L. Frank Baum. First editions. Together, four quarto volumes. Illustrated by John R. Neill. Publisher's bindings, The Royal Book of Oz in later dust jacket. Jacket rubbed, soiled, and lightly chipped. Moderate rubbing and extremity wear on bindings, over-opened in some places, sheets a bit age-toned. The Magic of Oz has some staining affecting edges and some pages, front and rear hinges over-opened with mull cloth exposed, textblock starting to split at pages 80-81. Glinda of Oz has slightly concave spine, front hinge breaking. The Royal Book of Oz has hinges starting. Kabumpo in Oz has textblock starting to split at page 73 and opposite plate. Overall, good to very good.
