Limited "de-luxe" edition, #87/520, signed and numbered by Arthur Rackham on the limitation page. Quarto (11.5 x 9.5 inches; 292.1 x 241.3 mm). [xiv], 185 pp. Illustrated by Arthur Rackham, 21 mounted color plates (each approximately 7 x 5 inches), including frontispiece, plus extra plate not found in the trade edition, and in-text illustrations throughout. Quarter vellum stamped in gilt. Corners bumped; spine and top edge sunned; moderate soiling overall. Endpapers with some staining, pencil notations to front free endpaper recto. Internally generally clean; top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed, edges toned; minor edgewear, minor intermittent foxing. Very good. Hudson p. 171; Latimore & Haskell, pp. 61-62.
