One of 250 copies of the English issue, out of a total edition of 375 numbered copies, this being copy number 46, signed by the artist. Quarto (10 x 7.75 inches; 254 x 196 mm.). [103], [1, blank] pages. With eight mounted color plates inserted and thirty text illustrations in black and white. Original full vellum over boards, front cover and spine decoratively lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Color pictorial endpapers. Minor rubbing to binding. A bright, fine copy. Housed in later slipcase. Latimore and Haskell pp. 63-64; Riall pp. 164-165.
