    Chester A. Arthur Signed Card Bound Into a Presentation Copy of An Inquiry into the Accordancy of War with the Principles of Christianity by Jonathan Dymond. New York: William Wood & Co., 1880. Arthur's signature is found on a card affixed to the front pastedown and reads: "Chester A Arthur/July 11, 1882." 8vo, 124 pages. This is a presentation copy given to Arthur and is inscribed on the front flyleaf: "Chester A. Arthur Vice President of the U. S. With the best wishes and kindly regards of the Central Track Committee of New York Yearly Meeting of friends. On behalf of the Com.uy. Robt. I. Murray." Green, gilt stamped leather over boards with marbled endpapers. Spine is gilt stamped with five raised bands. Page edges in gilt. Light to moderate toning throughout. Boards are moderately worn with bumped corners and edges.
