Charles M. Schulz. Peanuts Jubilee: My Life and Art with Charlie Brown and Others. New York: Holt, Rinehart and Winston, [1975].

    More Information:

Oblong folio. Inscribed to Rod McKuen by Schulz on half-title page: "For Rod with/ friendship - Sparky". "Sparky" was Schulz's nickname from childhood. Rod McKuen wrote and performed the title song for the Peanut's movie A Boy Named Charlie Brown. From the estate of Rod McKuen.

222 pages. Heavily illustrated with photos, drawings, and, of course, plates of color comic strips. Silver paper covered boards with titles on front cover and spine, in its original illustrated dust jacket. The dust jacket is partially stuck to the front board, both front and rear boards have surface paper lifts from attempted jacket removal; the two leaves with plates 62-65 are stuck together at the upper corner; the dust jacket has edge wear, edge tears, creases, and light soiling; otherwise a very good book with a delightful association.
