    Charles M. Russell: A Fine Copy of the Signed Limited Deluxe Edition of Charles M. Russell, Word Painter. Letters 1887-1926. (Fort Worth: Amon Carter Museum [Distributed by Harry N. Abrams, New York], [1993]). First edition, limited to two hundred special copies bound in leather and numbered and signed by the author (on a printed label mounted on the front free endpaper). This copy is additionally inscribed on the front endpaper and label by Russell's son, Jack Russell: "This is the best book I have seen about my father [signed] Jack Russell." Quarto (11.5" x 11.5"). viii, 435 pages. Profusely illustrated with Russell's wonderful illustrated letters. Publisher's full brown leather, stamped in blind on the front cover with a facsimile of Russell's signature: "C.M. Russell," and lettered in gilt on the spine. An absolutely fine copy. Housed in a custom quarter morocco book-backed slipcase with five raised bands and gilt lettering on the spine.
