Ten inserted plates, and with two later plates from the second edition laid in. List of Illustrations appears after Contents. Uniformly bound in full green calf, with morocco spine labels lettered in gilt, decorative gilt floral pieces to the spine and corners. Marbled endpapers. Top edges gilt. Spines expertly rebacked. Minor occasional foxing to text. Very good condition.
