First Edition, First Issue of Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities in a Beautiful Morrell Binding

Charles Dickens. A Tale of Two Cities. London: Chapman and Hall, 1859. First edition in book form, first issue (with page 213 misnumbered as 113). Octavo. [ix], [1, blank], 254 pages. With sixteen plates inserted throughout, including engraved frontispiece and title page. Bound by Morrell in early twentieth-century full brown straight-grain morocco, boards triple-ruled in gilt, spine tooled in gilt in compartments, with two burgundy and one brown gilt morocco lettering labels, gilt board edges and turn-ins, marbled endleaves. Spine a bit sunned and worn, some wear to joints and edgewear to boards, frontispiece is nearly detached. Still, a very good copy of this rare and important novel (Dickens' second historical novel, and one of his most famous). Housed in later slipcase. Smith I, 13. Gimbel A143. From a private collection from New Orleans.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
