Three works bound together, with the original wrappers bound in. Each work has a frontispiece carte de visite portrait that is signed by Charles and Mary Cowden Clarke. Each work also has an ink presentation inscription on the title page that reads: "Presented to Lord Coleridge with...respect and grateful wishes...Villa Novello, Genoa, Jan. 4, 1877." Coleridge has also signed the front flyleaf. Octavo. Beautiful modern custom binding of red crushed morocco with green leather onlays. Suede pastedowns. There is a long ink notation to the copyright page of Carmina, detailing how Charles Cowden Clarke died in 1877 the month after the book was presented to Lord Coleridge. Scattered foxing throughout.
