First edition of the eighteenth Nancy Drew mystery, signed by the author opposite the first page of text: "Mildred Benson / also known / as Carolyn / Keene / Feb. 2000 11." Octavo. [viii], 215, [1, blank] pages. Publisher's light blue cloth, spine lettered in orange, front board lettered and decoratively stamped in orange; top edge stained orange; illustrated endpapers; in original dust jacket. Spine very gently leaning; backstrip very faintly dulled; board edges lightly rubbed with minor wear to spine ends and corners. Very faint offsetting to endpapers. Dust jacket spine panel just a shade darkened with a few small blemishes; rear panel very lightly soiled; occasional minor edgewear. Near fine. From the KoKo Collection.
