    Description

Capt. J. C. Terrell. Reminiscences of the Early Days of Fort Worth. Fort Worth: Texas Printing Company, 1906. First edition. 8vo. 101 pp. Inscribed in pencil by the author on the front free endpaper: "Miss Vera Harrison / from / J. C. Terrell.- / Min. Wells, June 11- 1908." Illustrated.

Original light blue cloth with twin rules blind stamped in the boards and titles stamped in gilt on the front board. Moderate shelf wear to the extremities with a few instances of cockling to the cloth. Contents sound. A very good copy inscribed copy of this rare book.

Includes an account of Terrell's 1852 overland excursion to California with extracts from his diary notes as well as several other eclectic accounts of Ft. Worth. Sadly, he recounts but one story from his days serving the Confederacy.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
