    First edition. Boldly signed "Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker / 1935" vertically on the verso of the half-title page. Publisher's original blue cloth, titled in orange on the spine, with color illustrations duplicating the jacket art mounted to the front and rear boards, as issued. Facsimile dust jacket. Near fine.

    Octavo. viii-[xii], 371 pages. Black and white photograph of Capt. Rickenbacker used as the frontispiece. Illustrated with maps by Laurence La Tourette Driggs. A handsome copy with modest shelf wear to the edges of the boards and spine ends and with some minor scuffing to the illustrations on the boards. Slight browning to the edges of the text block, otherwise internally blemish free.
