    Book Society bookplate affixed to the half-title, and signed on the lower portion by Forester. Octavo. 304,[3] [sic]-284, [6, blank] pages. Publisher's full green cloth, front cover and spine lettered in silver, dust jacket. Jacket with some edgewear and some tears, insect damage to spine and joints, tape on upper portion of jacket near joints and on verso, some rubbing and mild wear to binding, some foxing to half-title and edge of text block. Fair. With the previous owner's name on the bookplate (written in ink above Forester's signature), being that of Joan Henry (possibly Joan Constance Anne Henry, 1914-2000, British Author and Screenwriter).
