    Bram Stoker. Dracula. Westminster: Archibald Constable & Co., 1897. First edition, first issue, without ad to final flyleaf. Octavo. 390 pages. Publisher's yellow cloth, spine and upper and lower boards stamped in red. Corners just bumped and rubbed, cocked, minor edgewear, spine sunned, somewhat rubbed and soiled. Cream endpapers; hinges starting, some foxing and offsetting, bookplate of The Beaufoy Library and light penciled bookseller notations to the front pastedown, bookseller's embossed stamp and 35 mm repaired tear to front free endpaper. Internally generally clean and tight, top edge rough trimmed, other edges untrimmed; somewhat thumbsoiled, a few light pencil notations, minor foxing, text block edges toned with minor wear. Housed in custom red cloth clamshell case, backed in red levant morocco and decorated in gilt. Very good or better.
