Osgood, McIlvaine & Co., 1892. One work in two octavo volumes. x, 356; viii, 346 pages. Frontispiece self-portraits, fifteen etchings and eight facsimile sketches by "Himself and Friends". Title pages in red and black. Blue publisher's cloth over boards with blind stamped rules and gilt designs on front covers; gilt titles and "WBS" designs on spine. Boards rubbed and lightly soiled, corners bumped, front hinge of second volume cracking, dated inscription erased with surface paper loss from verso of first volume's front free endpaper, holograph pencil annotations, few over-opened pages, occasional foxing; otherwise in very good condition.
