    Thomas Kirkup. A Memoir of Duncan Wallace, Being a Narrative of His Voyages, Shipwrecks, Travels, and Battles by Sea and by Land, During a Period of Eighty-Three Years. Newcastle-on-Tyne: John Bell, Railway Bank, Pilgrim Street, 1862. First edition, 12mo, 210 pages, frontispiece portrait of Wallace. Half-bound leather over paper covered boards, stamped title on spine with gilt decoration, raised bands. Inscription on front endpaper, dated July 17, 1865.

    Condition: Moderately toned pages, foxing and dampstaining at front and back endpapers. Wear to boards, bumped corners, binding cracked at spine. Two front pages are very loosely bound.
