    One work in two octavo volumes. Illustrated plates, engravings with tissue guards. Two folding genealogical plates at rear of second volume. Publisher's blue bindings with gilt rules and cream colored over-lays bearing the queen's royal cypher in gilt on front covers, gilt title and matching cypher on spines, upper edges gilt. Bindings lightly rubbed and soiled; holograph ink inscriptions on both front free endpapers, small hotel sticker on front free endpaper of the first volume, minor off-set from tissue guards on facing pages, and few holograph pencil markings. Else in very good condition.
