[8], 1562, [16] pp. Frontispiece, 2 portraits and 82 plates (each with sixteen individual portraits). Elaborate contemporary vellum, rebacked with original spine, with original clasps, soiling. Contemporary ink notes to first blank, frontis and title laid-on. Title page in red and black. First dedication leaf with clean tear at bottom. Freheri portrait with corner tear & plates facing 868 & 898, all with no affect, 2G4 & Q62 with corner tears, no affect, clean tear to M63. Some light browning, few minor ink stains. A bit of chipping on edges of preliminary and terminal leaves. Overall a good complete copy, which often lacks text and multiple plates. From the Krown & Spellman Collection.
