Rubbing, wear, soiling, staining, tattering and tearing with loss to extremities. Spine and corners bumped. Front and rear hinges separating. Bookplate in one. Toning and soiling along textblock edges of both, with ink writing on tail of volume I. Foxing and dampstaining throughout. Over-opened in some places. Tearing and tattering to folding plate at pp. 60-61 of volume I. Ink signature on rfep and large open tear with loss. Fair. From the collection of Judith Adelman.
