Publisher's original blue and brick cloth lettered in gilt. Dust jacket. Very good in a chipped and worn jacket. Whitney was a general and member of MacArthur's staff during WWII, becoming his personal secretary after MacArthur was relieved of command in Korea. This work covers the years 1941 to 1951 in MacArthur's career.
