One of approximately fifteen presentation copies in a special binding (this copy unnumbered and with no written limitation) signed by Darrow. Octavo. [xvi], 465, [1, blank] pages. With inserted limitation leaf, portrait frontispiece, and several plates. Publisher's special presentation binding of full cream buckram, spine stamped in brick and gilt. Spine a bit toned; minor rubbing to binding; light thumbsoiling to binding; rear joint soiled; upper edge of text block dampstained (not affecting text); boards very slightly rounded. Still, this is a bright, fine copy, better than usually seen. From the James C. Seacrest Collection.
