Author's autograph edition limited to 1,000 hand-numbered copies (this copy "994") boldly signed by Charles Lindbergh and the publisher on a special limitation page inserted in front. Octavo. 308 pages. Engraved frontispiece and 51 other full-page illustrations. Vellum backed boards lettered in gilt on the spine and front spine. Illustrated pastedowns. Edges untrimmed. Original glassine wrappers. Publisher's note and seven-page booklet of testimonials laid-in. Sold in the original two-part blue cardboard box of issue. The front panel of the glassine wrapper is chipped and has a small area of loss, otherwise this is a particularly nice copy in very good or better condition.
