With frontispiece and four plates inserted throughout. Publisher's full glossy black cloth, front board and spine stamped in silver. In the original dust jacket. Binding scuffed and worn; boards soiled; offsetting to endleaves; text toned; text with thumbsoiling; a few pages with short tears; some soiling to edges of text block. Binding skewed. Jacket repaired; jacket spine somewhat sunned; some edgewear and mild chipping; one large creased tear to rear panel; jacket spine dampstained. A good copy. This is only the second autobiography of a jazz musician published. From the James C. Seacrest Collection.
