    [Walt Whitman]. Group of Twenty Books about Walt Whitman, One SIGNED. Various publishers. 1883-1984. Various sizes. Publishers' bindings. Thirteen in dust jackets. A Visit to Walt Whitman and Some of His Friends 1898 is inscribed by the author, John Johnson. The 1883 Walt Whitman by Bucke has numerous contemporary newspaper clippings mounted and bound in on blank pages (some offset to facing pages). Title page to 1968 Leaves of Grass facsimile volume corner cut. Bindings rubbed and soiled, cracked joints and hinges; occasional holograph marks, names or inscriptions; some off-set to endpapers, some pages with soiling and foxing, some over-opened. Dust jackets scuffed and soiled, fold and edge wear with few minor tears and paper chips, several price clipped. Very good. From the Estate of Rod McKuen.
