Some rubbing and extremity wear on covers, leather on rear cover wrinkling. Fore-edges of covers and pastedowns repaired with archival cloth. Front joint starting. Textblock cockled. Hinges cracked. Toning, foxing, some soiling, and occasional small stains on sheets. Tear on lower half of pp. 23-24 repaired with archival cloth, with inner margins repaired on pp. 24-25, fore-edge of p. 25-26 torn and restored; text on these pages affected. Open tear with loss on lower corner of pp. 163-164, a bit of loss to last two rows of text on recto and verso. Outer portions of sheets dampstained on pp. 273-432. Ink stains on p. 432. Good.
