I/think the young man has brought forth an/excellent piece of work./John Kendrick Bangs, Jr./April 16th 1941." Octavo. 300 pages. Publisher's full salmon cloth, front board stamped in black, spine stamped in black and gilt, rear board stamped in blind. Cloth spine sunned, some rubbing, soiling to binding, text a bit toned. Good.
