    [Frank Sinatra]. Collection of Correspondence from Frank Sinatra to Rod McKuen. 1969-1976. Two personal communications and two formal invitations from Frank Sinatra to Rod McKuen. Three in envelopes.

    1. A Western Union Telegram to Rod McKuen [March 13, 1969]: "BT/ For whatever it's worth congratulations. Love and kisses/ Francis Albert Sinatra".

    2. A printed invitation from Frank Sinatra to his daughter Nancy's debut at the International Hotel in Las Vegas on August 29th - in envelope post marked "19 Aug/ 1969".

    3. An ornate black and gold printed invitation in a matching envelope from Frank Sinatra to his daughter Nancy's premier performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on August 6th, 1970. Included is an unsigned typed page with draft letters from Rod McKuen to Frank and Harry, thanking them for the invitation, but sends his regrets that he will be working that weekend.

    4. A small typed thank you note dated January 30, 1976 for his gift and best wishes for 1976. With the secretarial signature: "Frank".

    Items with light edge and fold wear, some minor smudging or staining; otherwise in very good condition. Envelopes with wear, tears, light smudges or stains, and holograph writing. From the Estate of Rod McKuen.
