Octavo. 315, [5, blank] pages. Sixteen double-sided leaves of black-and-white photographic reproductions. Publisher's dark red cloth, spine lettered in gilt; text block edges trimmed; original dust jacket. Spine ends slightly rolled; a bit of mild soiling to cloth. Text block very faintly yellowed with age; U-shaped tear at head of first leaf of text. Jacket generally rather worn, particularly at spine and flap fold ends; spine panel lightly sunned; a couple of closed tears at head of front panel, the longest extending down about three inches, with added color applied to tears at recto and clear tape reinforcement at verso; price-clipped. Very good book in a good jacket. Housed in custom book-backed clamshell. With bookplate of Bryan Forbes at front pastedown.
