Thirteen octavo volumes (8.25 x 5.5 inches; 208 x 140 mm.). Illustrated with photogravures, each volume including a frontispiece and illustration in two states, both colored and uncolored, with additional hand-coloring on limitation vignettes and titles. Repaired contemporary full brown morocco; boards decorated with elaborate repeating floral motif in gilt; spine in six compartments, titles in gilt on spine with floral motif; full morocco doublures with floral gilt border and seal in gilt on red morocco; marbled flyleaves; top edges gilt. Hinges repaired. Corners and edges mildly worn; raised bands lightly rubbed; pages roughly opened; small modern bookplates applied to front flyleaves; spine title of Rodney Stone inked over in white, with some resulting extraneous ink markings. Overall a handsome restored set.

Grand Format Floor Sessions
Proxy bidding ends ten minutes prior to the session start time. Live Proxy bidding on Heritage Live starts 24 hours before the live session begins and continues through the session. During the live auction event, bidding in person is encouraged, and Heritage Live includes streaming audio and often video during the event.
