Octavo. 320 pages. Seven illustrations, including frontispiece, by Arthur I. Keller. Original red publisher's cloth lettered in gilt. Corners just bumped and rubbed, cocked, moderate edgewear, head and foot of spine pushed and worn, spine sunned, somewhat soiled. Endpapers with minor thumbsoiling, penciled bookseller's notations to front pastedown and rear free endpaper verso. Gutter overextended at the half-title page, somewhat foxed, minor soiling, lightly toned to margins and edges. Very good.

Grey publisher's cloth, upper board and spine lettered in dark red. Corners just bumped, minor edgewear, head and foot of spine pushed and somewhat worn; later red cloth dust jacket with black paper spine label lettered in gilt. Penciled bookseller's notations to front free endpaper recto and rear pastedown. Internally generally clean and tight, pages 23-36 with some creasing and wear to bottom margin but not affecting text, minor intermittent soiling. Dust jacket with minor edgewear, lightly sunned, printed spine label somewhat chipped and starting to peel. Very good or better.
