Original red publisher's cloth lettered in gilt. Corners just bumped and rubbed, minor edgewear, head and foot of spine pushed and somewhat worn, gilt somewhat darkened, dampstaining to upper and lower boards. Endpapers lightly foxed and toned, rear endpapers with minor bleed. Gutter overextended at the half-title page, somewhat foxed, lightly toned to margins and edges, dampstaining to bottom margin at the back half of the text block including the last four plates, but only just touching image. Very good.

Original red publisher's cloth lettered in gilt. Corners bumped, minor edgewear, spine sunned, somewhat rubbed and soiled. Endpapers somewhat foxed, front hinge just starting, offsetting to free endpapers, front free endpaper with small pencil bookseller's note. Internally generally clean and tight, somewhat foxed chiefly to margins and edges, text block edges toned with minor wear. Very good.
