With his embossed personal library stamp on the title-page ("From the Library of Sir Arthur C. Clarke"), and with his personal ink ownership stamp on the half title (of his address in Sri Lanka). Octavo. 221 pages. Publisher's black glossy paper backstrip over blue paper boards, spine lettered in silver and blue, original pictorial dust jacket. Jacket a bit toned, some minor wear to jacket at spine, one small tape repair to jacket verso at spine, board edges of book a bit sunned, upper front corner lightly bumped. Still, a near fine copy from the library of the author. With a small embroidered cloth prop patch from the film (approximately 3.5 inches in diameter). Patch with the words "United States Astronautics Agency", and with the central motif of the Monolith with the letters "TMA-1". Bright and fine.
