    Richard Felton Outcault. Group of Thirteen Early Twentieth Century Post Cards, Two of which Feature Buster Brown and his dog Tige. circa 1905. Approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches each. Thirteen color post cards by Buster Brown creator Richard Felton Outcault, ten of which have a Valentine's Day theme. One of the Buster Brown post cards has holograph pen writing on its front, augmenting the sentiment. Most of the post cards were sent through the mail and have holograph addresses and messages, as well as contemporary cancelled postage stamps. Post cards with light edge wear, small corner bumps or creases, minor soiling, few with ink stamps or bleedthrough from ink stamps in background of image area. Very good.
