    Paul Gauguin. Noa Noa. Voyage à Tahiti. Paris: Editions G. Crès et Cie, [1926]. First French edition, limited to 100 numbered copies, of which this is number eighty, printed in Berlin by Ganymed. Facsimile of Gauguin's original manuscript journal. Large quarto (12.125 x 9.25 inches; 235 x 308 mm.). [viii], 204 pages, collotype reproductions of Gauguin's works affixed throughout the text, including thirty-six full-page illustrations. Publisher's raffia cloth, front board and spine lettered in brownish-red, in original lithographed dust jacket. Backstrip faintly dulled. Bookseller ticket at rear pastedown. Dust jacket spine panel slightly darkened, with small bit of soiling to lower portion, crown lightly worn, closed tear to upper edge of front panel, verso lightly rubbed with mild offsetting from lettering. A near fine copy of a beautiful book, less common than the German edition, which had a total limitation of 400 copies (eighty being deluxe issues).
